During the annual Colorado River conference convened in June 2026 by the Getches-Wilkinson Center and the Water & Tribes Initiative, we convened a panel on Learning from the Process: How Do We Do Better in the Future? The intent of the panel was to identify lessons learned from the process of developing the post-2026 operating guidelines, and suggest how the basin might improve opportunities to engage all sovereigns and stakeholders in problem-solving and decision-making.

 

With this online instrument, we are continuing that conversation and encourage you to respond to the questions below.
